Thermosetting plastics can’t be melted back to their original state.
What is cross-linking

Fabrication of thermoplastics

(5) High-density polyethylene(HDPE)
Stiff, hard, chemical-resistant material, used for plastic bottles, protective casings, and pipelines. etc

Elastomers
